The Round­table mem­bers’ founders include scions of Amer­i­ca’s wealth­i­est fam­i­lies, includ­ing Richard Mel­lon Scaife (heir to the Mel­lon indus­tri­al, oil and bank­ing for­tune), Har­ry Bradley (elec­tron­ics), Joseph Coors (beer), and the Smith Richard­son fam­i­ly (phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal products).
