It turns out that the first two days of tes­ti­mo­ny at Audible.com are miss­ing a few hours. I checked with a guy at Audi­ble, and he said this:

You’re right. A few speak­ers did­n’t make it. 

On Day 1, there were audio prob­lems in the hear­ing room that made at least an hour of the audio unlis­ten­able & unusable.

On Day 2, the guy who was doing the record­ing for us had equip­ment prob­lems and missed about an hour. We’re still hop­ing to recov­er some of that audio, but I don’t have high hopes. 

Any­one who has good notes from the miss­ing speak­ers, or their own audio, I’d be glad to find a place to host it.

I also want to thank Audi­ble for mak­ing this avail­able. I’m annoyed that there may not be a com­plete audio record­ing of the event, but they are giv­ing this away as a pub­lic ser­vice, so I can hard­ly crit­i­cize them for not hav­ing back­ups or some­thing. They did a great pub­lic ser­vice, and I’m glad they did.

Again, any­one with a good audio record­ing of the hear­ings, or just the miss­ing por­tions, please let me know, and I’ll try to make it pub­licly avail­able. I think Daniel Ely and Bryan Leonard are among the peo­ple whose tes­ti­mo­ny is miss­ing or incomplete.
