Marci Francisco, one of the State Senators for Lawrence, will be Drinking Liberally and chatting with us about stuff, so come on out to Drinking Liberally tomorrow (Tuesday) in the upstairs meeting room from 8–10.
It should be a good time.
In the New Yorker piece on Grover Norquist, it mentions that one tool he used to create a cohesive conservative movement is a series of regular meetings around the country, bringing together activists from a variety of backgrounds to hash out some common cause. It struck me that that was a great idea, then it struck me that we already have such a thing in Drinking Liberally. There’s one near you, so enjoy.
