The arguments in Dover are done. After 40 days and 40 nights, the judge is off to deliberate (oops, not quite). RSR points out the difference in congeniality between the plaintiffs and the defense. The Discovery Institute and the Thomas More Law Center (“The Sword and Shield for People of Faith”) have been taking potshots at each other for weeks, while the Dover parents are getting on really well with their pro bono lawyers.
While that doesn’t mean the parents will win and IDC will lose, it does show that intelligent design creationism is not only unprepared for the scientific arena, it probably isn’t ready for the courtroom, either.
