Neo Com­mons: Richard Pom­bo’s Work is Dead:

The not so sub­tle attempt to sale off pub­lic lands via a “mod­i­fied” min­ing law appears to be dead. I can only hope that the voice of the peo­ple caused our elect­ed ones to say this one had to go away and it did.

This was an awful amend­ment and we can all be glad it went away. The law would have allowed cor­po­ra­tions to buy fed­er­al land for peanuts. Richard Pom­bo does­n’t deserve his seat in congress.
